Farrah Fawcett died at 62

With the passing of actress Farrah Fawcett, the world has lost someone very special: a talented screen star who left her "Charlie's Angels" image behind her to become the acclaimed lead of several ambitious productions.

Among them are the two TV movies "Dalva" and "Children of the Dust," both available from Beta Film.

In "Dalva," co-starring Rod Steiger and Peter Coyote, Fawcett plays a mother in search of the child she was forced to abandon at birth. Set in the American West of the 1880s, "Children of the Dust" stars Fawcett and Sidney Poitier in an uncommon, interracial spin on the timeless "Romeo and Juliet" story.
