100 years death anniversary of Mark Twain

The American Writer Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, is remembered above all as the creator of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, characters that have become part of the world's folklore and mythology. In his remarkably varied works, Mark Twain loves poking fun at entrenched institutions and traditions. He also kept returning to a theme which fed his imagination throughout his life: his memories of an ideal world, as experienced during childhood and youth.

Respect for the author and the viewer's intelligence keynotes the cycle of TV Movies available at Beta Film, based on novels by Mark Twain, including The Innocents Abroad, The Tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson, The Private History of a Campaign that Failed, Life on Mississippi, No. 44 The Mysterious Stranger.
