Beta Film’s Hallmark movies start the holiday season with a bang

Munich, 1 December 2011. Beta Film’s new Hallmark Christmas movies have started the holiday season with a bang. Lucky Christmas starring Elizabeth Berkley (“CSI Miami”) ranked as Hallmark Channel’s highest rated telecast of the year and as No 1 rated ad-supported cable movie of the week beating theatrical hits such as “Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire” and “Shrek the 3rd” (Nov 12 2011). Trading Christmas starring Tom Cavanagh (“Scrubs”), which was aired on Nov 26, was prime time winner among the cable broadcasts and got the silver medal among the ad-supported cable movies of that week. The success also continued in Europe with Beta’s Miracle in Manhattan scoring very successfully in Germany’s Vox on December 13, beating RTL II and Pro7. Lucky Christmas has been produced by Julijette Inc.
